Maui Brewing Company reaches their grid-independence goal in Kihei

Maui Brewing Company in Kihei’s Tech Park is a good Maui citizen

with sustainable practices of brewing beer and leaving a small footprint.  They use a variety of tools to save energy and recycle water, and recently achieved their goal of being grid independent this fall, as planned.

You can help too!

In addition, they encourage us all to help sustain the beaches with their clean up kits that you can pick for free.  When you stop in to the brewery, you’ll find these in the lobby next to the merchandise booth.  Take a kit to the beach and fill it up with junk you find there, then return it to the Pacific Whale Foundation and they’ll monitor what’s ending up on our shores.
