Maui Oriental Market
We had a Yelp event at this cute little store on Lower Main Street in Wailuku Maui. It’s easy to spot with the bright blue paint job, and there’s off-street parking right in front. This little shop packs in a lot of interesting stuff, and they serve ready to eat meals along with packaged goods.
We were treated to a bento box full of Korean hot and cold picnic foods that they prepared in their kitchen, including a “gimbap” roll and some tasty deep fried goodies of different flavors. If you’re familiar with Japanese or Chinese foods, it’s not that much different, but they do like their hot spices!
The store offers fresh and frozen foods, including even some popsicle treats from Korea. You’ll find canned seafoods, cold drinks, energy drinks, spices, instant noodles of many flavors, household basics, and even some beauty products and portable stoves for camping.
