Paia Youth and Cultural Center.
This oceanfront spot is a local non-profit who’s goal is to provide a safe place for young people on the north shore of Maui. They offer many kinds of activities that are recreational and educational, with a Hawaiian cultural emphasis.
Kids from 9 to 19 can join for free, and partake of the drop in center and Stonewave Sk8park, along with many structured programs. Hours are from 1-7 pm most Tuesday through Friday. Saturday is from 11-7. They’re closing on Sunday and Monday.
You can find them on the edge of Paia, just off the Hana Highway, and right on the beach at Paia Bay.
