Fruits and Flowers for sale in Huelo, Haiku Maui.
You’ll see many fruit stands along the Hana Highway, in Haiku and on the way to Hana. Any home owner can set up a little stand and sell their own fruits, whatever they can pull together from their properties. It’s not unusual to see offerings of bananas, avocados, oranges. Take what you want a leave some money, or trade.
This little enterprise is for the neighborhood Huelo kids to make some spare change to spend in town.
I love their catchy company name:
“The Rainbow Fruit and Flower Company”
