If you’re hungry for a really good old fashioned hamburger with all the trimmings, then you should try this locally owned restaurant in Kahului, in the Pu’unene Shopping Center. They originated on Oahu in 1998 and have since expanded to Maui in 2 locations, Kahului and Lahaina.  They’ve even opened up in Japan and the Philippines.

The 1/3 lb meat patties are hand made with 100% ground chuck and charbroiled to your liking.  The potato buns are also grilled and toasty.  Each burger comes with tomatoes, onion, pickle, and lettuce, and you can select from a wide range of additional toppings – but be careful what you wish for!  It’s easy to end up with a burger that’s too big to get your  mouth around.  Their fries are really good too.  If you’re watching your carbs, you can get any item wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun.
