Maui has seen some ups and downs in the past few years, but this is still one of the best places to live.
We really enjoy having our home on the north shore, in Haiku. It seems we’re able to avoid a lot of the weather problems that other regions have been getting. No flooding here, as the terrain allows for run off.
You can enjoy swimming in mountain pools in Haiku Maui, like this one in Huelo. The streams flow all year. I can show you where these are if you’re buying in the area.
Take a look at these statistics from our Maui MLS to compare home sales in March of 2026 to the previous year. What’s been selling year to date? You can see that prices are down – making this a good time to be buying.
Let me know if you have questions about buying or selling Maui real estate.
