Have you heard of forest bathing?
It’s a Japanese wellness practice that has gained a lot of attention and acceptance lately. By wrapping yourself in nature, in a forest environment, you can unwind and feel a sense of well being. Here on Maui you can have the opportunity to try it out for free in March, with a certified forest therapy guide, Phyllis Look. The 2 hour sessions will provide a total immersion in one of our public green spaces in Makawao, and in Kahului. It’s a great way to get healthy!
Monday March 2 at 10 AM – Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center, Makawao
Tuesday March 3 at 10 AM – Maui Nui Botanical Gardens, Kahului
Learn more about these events, as well as others on neighbor islands here in Hawaii.
Twin Falls in Haiku – another great place for self guided tours into the jungle of Maui’s north shore
Do you need to get back to nature?
Maybe a home in Upcountry Maui would be just the thing!
