Maui food news – no more foam lunch boxes
A new law takes effect with the new year. Starting in January 2019 there will be no more polystyrene foam containers serving up take-out foods in Maui County. Your plate lunch just got served notice. I think it’s a good thing and will support the change.
Let’s face it, these kind of containers are a big nuisance and there are many alternatives that are greener. For more details of this transition, read the full story in the Maui News online.
